Having worked for over 25 years in the travel industry and being fortunate to have lived in the most beautiful parts of Europe, I have gained a great understanding of its different cultures, people and traditions.
On returning to the UK in early 2016, I worked for several years at a local medical practice, where it became clear that the most powerful aid to overall health and wellbeing was to take a holistic approach, involving physical, mental, emotional and spiritual practices.
I marvelled that after years of trying to give up smoking, I managed to quit this habit after a couple of sessions of acupuncture.
Reflexology and aromatherapy both became treatments that I included in my overall health regime. After my sessions, I was able to see how much easier it was for me to manage stress and to feel intense relaxation.

The period during the COVID epidemic gave me time to focus on the direction that my life should take and thus I decided to follow my passion for health and wellness and train to become a reflexologist.
Nurture Reflexology was born with the sole aim of enhancing people's lives by offering both face and foot reflexology to promote healing from the inside out as well as promoting a feeling of relaxation and general well-being.
I offer a space for both adults and children to rest, recuperate and restore. I pay particular attention to women’s health, especially to those of us going through menopause.
Complementary treatments such as reflexology can assist you through difficult times, maintain your health and well-being and return youthfulness to your face without the need for cosmetic surgery.
I look forward to being able to be of service to you and look forward to our first treatment together!.
I want all my clients to feel totally at ease and for them to use this session as an hour of 'me' time which can begin the healing process.
Stress cannot be avoided; we live with it and in it every day!
That’s why having some 'me' time is so important.

Reflexology is a natural therapy founded on the belief that your feet and hands are a reflection of the systems in your body - where specific areas correspond to organs, glands, and structure. By applying gentle pressure to areas of the feet or hands a Reflexologist can help the body restore its own healthy balance.
Reflexology aims to treat the individual as a whole, creating a state of harmony in both body and mind. It has the benefit of also being a deeply relaxing therapy, and during periods of relaxation, the body takes the opportunity to heal, restore and energize itself.
Reflexology is suitable for all ages, from baby to adult, and can be especially helpful for long-term and recurring conditions. Reflexology does not diagnose and does not cure though however the aim is to bring your body back in a state of balance and well-being.
The benefits of massage therapy go beyond simple relaxation, but stress is often the major factor causing havoc in our bodies.

Regular sessions can help you feel calmer, more relaxed within your body and mind, but also can help release tension in your muscular system that was causing headaches or insomnia. Remedial reflexology can be used to prevent or help heal the injury and manage chronic pain conditions.

Everyone has ways of dealing with the challenges of everyday life. Going through Menopause is a natural event it’s not an illness. Fluctuating hormones due to high stress levels will have an impact on us, our body mind and emotions. Women’s health reflexology will have a positive effect in restoring your hormonal balance in a natural way helping you to cope with PMS, peri-menopause and menopause.
The treatment is usually carried out in a reclining chair or on a massage couch and you will be asked to remove footwear and socks. A detailed medical history before the initial examination of the feet will be taken.
The therapist will use their thumbs, fingers or knuckles to apply pressure to the feet. The aim is to restore our natural ability for self-healing by encouraging energy flow around the body.
This will depend on your reasons for having Reflexology. My recommendation is to initially have a succession of 4 to 6 weekly treatments to give your body a chance to respond well. If your body has been out of balance for some time, it is fair to expect that it will take time and a number of treatments to regain balance. After this time, many people opt for a treatment once a month to maintain general well-being.
Reflexology is a non-intrusive treatment, however if there are any imbalances or blockages in your body, you may experience tenderness or minor discomfort while these imbalances are being cleared. Typically a treatment will feel extremely relaxing and enjoyable. Reflexology is not ticklish at all, it is a fairly firm touch, very relaxing and a pleasurable experience.
Reflexologists are not qualified to diagnose illnesses. Reflexology can detect areas of imbalance and tension within your body. We can discuss this more at the time of the treatment. If you ever have concerns about your health, I would always recommend that you visit your GP.
This will help the treatment work to it's full potential.
